Tablerock and Linn Cove Viaduct

In October me, Robert & Erin took a drive up to Linville Falls and went to Tablerock. You can see it in the first picture - it's a big rock formation that looks like a table. There were a few overlooks to view Tablerock, Hawksbill and the Linville Gorge.

Hawksbill

A view along the roadside.

From there we headed up the Blue Ridge Parkway to the Linn Cove Viaduct. The viaduct was the last link of the Parkway, constructed in the 1980s. It wraps around Grandfather Mountain. We went up there one time a few years ago but it was too foggy to seen anything. Luckily, this time we had a clear day.
