We took a drive up the Parkway to Grandfather Mountain and crossed the Mile-High Swinging Bridge.

Mellow Mushroom

We had lunch at the Mellow Mushroom in downtown Asheville and then hung around at our house. It proved to be too much for some.

Creston

We took the Kids to Creston to show them our property. Then we enjoyed a picnic at Allison Falls. Some people do not pay attention to signs.

Calgary Kids

Last week we enjoyed a visit from Robert's son, Robert, his wife, Susan, daughter Megan and son Robbie. There were so many Roberts we had to start using numbers to keep them straight. (Oops! I just realized I put one picture up here twice. Too bad I don't know how to fix it.)

Megan Hendry is modeling a t-shirt that was found stuck in the sofabed in our cabin. Anyone claim it? Who stayed in the cabin this summer - Joe & Sue? Miss Bobbie? Erin?

Dead People Are More Popular

Well, my birthday came and went without much fanfare because, once again, it was over-shadowed by someone's death. Only this time it wasn't just the anniversary of his death date it was the 30th anniversary of his death date. I wonder if I can legally have my birthday changed.

Asheville Cats

The Travelin' Cat Show hits the road.

Good-bye to the Cabin

Some parting shots of Tee Lake.

Too Sexy

"I'm... too sexy for my shirt."

Our Final Weekend

On Friday, Nick came with his girlfriend, Caylee. Sue and Roger joined us Saturday and Roger treated us to a fish-fry.

Cat Camp

The cats kept busy watching Chippy.

Back to the Cabin

We went back up to the cabin and kept ourselves busy camping out, expanding the rock garden and watching out for danger.

Detroit

The next weekend we went to a wedding in Detroit (where I didn't take very good pictures) and saw a lot of our old friends and also met some new ones.

Post FinnFest

To cure the post FinnFest blues some of us spent our time watching chipmunks while some of us went boating and for a vigorous swim with Nancy and Don.
