A Day at the Races

Early November me, Robert and Bobbie made our annual trek to Louisville to spend the weekend with Bill & Kent. We had to take the scenic route up because I-40 between Asheville & Knoxville is closed due to a rockslide. They don't expect it to be open again until spring.

Bill & Kent always plan some type of fun activity for us when we visit. This time we went to Churchill Downs to bet on the ponies. We had a table inside with a view of the track and a sliding glass door so you could step out and get a better view when the horses were running. It was fun placing the bets. Nobody won big (I think Robert ended up about $30 ahead) and nobody went home shirtless.
