Well, we were finished with the painting and the hardwood floors were being finished at the (new) house so we had nothing else to do so decided to head up to Michigan to winterize the cabin. We took the Travelin' Cat Show on the road as a solo act for the first time. Harvey just wasn't comfortable being the star after living his life as the second banana.
We had fun, anyway. The first few days the weather was beautiful. The colors were turning every day. Nancy & Don came down from the U.P. Saturday and we had a great time. It was warm Saturday so we spent some time out on the boat. Sunday it was cold & cloudy so they left. Talk about fair-weather friends! It was cold & cloudy Monday, too, which was fine because we had to pack up the cabin and take all the outside things in including the boat. The dock looks lonely without it.
