Hickory Nut Falls are located in Chimney Rock Park. We hiked the trail that leads to the bottom of the falls. Unfortunately, because of the drought, they weren't much more than a trickle. Scenes from the movie "Last of the Mohicans" were shot in the park. Hickory Nut Falls were pictured in it, too.
