Here is what's going on at the house. This is a picture of the dining room and into the kitchen. The carpenter is installing beams on the ceiling of the living room and dining room. The ceiling and walls are a 1 x 6 wainscot. The tapered posts at the raised kitchen counter are the same wood as the kitchen cabinets and the area below the counter will be wooden panels with the same wood.
The painters are also working fast & furiously priming all the woodwork. Here is the mudroom/laundry room and the front hall.
